Hi I'm Josh

I grew up in Utah. I am about to serve in the Colombia Medellin mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like scuba-diving, swimming, fishing, reading, playing games, and hanging out with my family. I went to one year of college last year, and then I decided I wanted to serve a full-time mission. I have always wanted to serve a mission, but I went to college for a year instead. When I got home this summer from school, I felt a strong desire to serve a mission. So, I went with that desire and decided to postpone my education until I get back from my mission. Deciding to serve a mission has been one of the best decisions I have made so far in my life. I have been called to serve in the Colombia Medellin mission, and I will be leaving in the next few months.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be Mormon because our Father in Heaven has given us everything, and I want to show my appreciation and love to our Father in Heaven. I also want to show my love and appreciation for our Savior Jesus Christ who went through the Atonement and died for me and everyone in this world. I also want to show my appreciation for the Holy Ghost, and His guiding direction. I have been through many personal struggles, addictions, and sins as well as family struggles. The only thing that has gotten me through all of these is our loving Father in Heaven, our Savior Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. I have seen my life dramatically go from rough to smooth as I have righteously stayed true to my faith, especially in these past few months as I have been preparing to serve a full-time mission. I would never trade being Mormon for anything in this world, because being Mormon has blessed my life in too many ways to count. I look forward to continuing in my faith and staying a Mormon for the rest of my life, as well as in the next life. I love being Mormon!

How I live my faith

The way that I live my faith is by striving to keep the commandments of God everyday and every week. I strive to start my day with a prayer and end my day with a prayer to Heavenly Father. I also strive to read from the Book of Mormon everyday. I strive to attend my church meetings and partake of the sacrament every week. I try my very best to be friendly with everyone I come in contact with. I love the ward that I am currently in, and I try to serve my fellow ward members the best I can. I love participating and helping in ward activities, like camping trips, cook outs, and temple trips. I am currently about to go serve a full-time mission in Colombia Medellin, and I strive to stay worthy and prepare everyday for my mission.
