Hi I'm Jacen Christian Call

I am Jacen; I am from Highland Utah, Youngest of two older brothers. I graduated from Lone Peak High School. I am a Mormon

About Me

I played Baseball in high school. My family really enjoys all sports but one we all play together is golf. I like to write and read in my spare time and I plan on going to college after my two year mission to Philadelphia.

Why I am a Mormon

I would like to write about how happy this church has made me. Ever since I started sincerely attending church with intent and reading and studying my scriptures with questions I came to learn that this is the true church of Christ and that Joseph Smith Jr. was a true prophet of this church, that he truly did see God the Eternal Father and his son Jesus Christ. I know that we have a modern day prophet in Thomas S. Monson who guides us in the path that God desires us to go. Through this church I have become closer with my family than I ever would have without it. I know that God has a plan for me. God has taught me very valuable life lessons at such a young age and I am very grateful because of it. I have embraced my past so I can and will be a better servant to him. I love my Father in Heaven and I know that he loves me, I truly have been humbled before the Lord and I believe I am a new person and a better man because of these things I have gone through. For once in my life I know exactly who I am and what my role is in this life. It’s because I have faith in Christ that no matter what happens to me it is for the best. Through very faithful and heartfelt prayers I came to learn that I truly am and will be a child of a loving Father in Heaven and I owe my life to serving him; I want to fulfill his will and fill the world with his light that he has brought into my own life. Once again I love our Father in Heaven and also his son Jesus Christ. I know that all of my downfalls and trials are all apart of his plan and I can not wait to go and do the work he has prepared for me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example and finding love and joy for everyone I meet and everything I do. I try to exercise my faith daily by applying the gospel doctrine I learn to my everyday life. I love showing others the joy I have received through this gospel and I know Heavenly Father gives us daily opportunities to find his lost sheep. But, with that being said, I know we still need to look for his sheep even every hour of every day. There will always be work to do and I have faith that that work will be accomplished if I keep an eternal outlook for everyone I meet.
