Hi I'm Tyler

I grew up on a farm, I love the outdoors, music, writing, having fun and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on a farm in Alberta, and learned to love animals. I love anything that involves being outdoors, especially on the water, or horseback. I love listening and playing music, and love writing. I'm love being loud, and having fun, while exerting copious amounts of energy. I'm kind of an energizer bunny. I've been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for the entirety of my life, and I absolutely love the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know, beyond any doubt, that this church is true. I've prayed, asked God, and found out for myself, that this is the Lord's church on the earth. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and is the word of God. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet, chosen to restore the Lord's church to the earth. I love this gospel with all my heart.

How I live my faith

Currently, I am living my faith by serving a mission for the Church. By reading and studying my scriptures everyday, and constantly turning to the Lord in prayer. By doing all the little things the Lord has asked us to do. By serving others around me, and putting their needs before my own.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

A testimony in and of itself, is someone's belief in something. If I were to say "I have a testimony of exercise, and how well it works in making me fit", it would be valid. On the spiritual side of things, a testimony is an individual's personal spiritual witness of the truthfulness of the gospel, given through the Holy Ghost. Or the spirit of God. If I were to say, "I know the God loves me, and knows me" that would be a simple, but true testimony, that I received through the Holy Ghost. Show more Show less
