Hi I'm Sabin Jarvis

I am from Utah. I love to sew, tumble, and spend time with family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have six siblings- three older brothers, two younger sisters, and one younger brother. I did gymnastics for six years, dance for two years, and power tumbling for seven years. I love to be physically active. I am currently working as a CNA and will leave on my mission to Ecuador in three weeks. When I get home I will continue to attend BYU, majoring in nursing. It has always been my dream to be a neonatal and pediatric nurse. I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints my whole life. I love the gospel and I know it to be true. I love the Lord and am eternally grateful for all of my many blessings.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the gospel is true. My parents raised my siblings and me in the church. As a child, I participated in the church because my parents did. Over time, however, I realized I had to gain my own testimony of the gospel. I continued to read the scriptures and pray and attend church. I asked questions and honestly sought for the answers. I eventually asked God if the church was true and discovered its veracity for myself. Living the doctrine of Christ has brought peace and joy to my life. As I exercise faith daily and repent so to have the spirit with me, my testimony of Jesus Christ is strengthened. Because of the gospel, I know who I am and what I am supposed to do here on earth. I know the church is true. I know I am a child of God, and He loves me. Joseph Smith really did see Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. The church has been restored to the Earth and Heavenly Father wants all of His children to know of its truthfulness. I know Christ atoned for my sins making it possible for me to live with God again, contingent upon my willingness to repent and obey. I continue to live the gospel because it ensures eternal life.

How I live my faith

My faith is at the center of everything I do. The gospel is part of who I am. I attend church each week to partake of the sacrament and strengthen my testimony of Jesus Christ. I read the scriptures and pray everyday. I try to serve everyone I meet and stand as a witness of God in all I do and say. I strive to repent daily and correct my mistakes. In my ward, I play the piano in primary. I help the children sing songs about Christ as they develop testimonies for themselves. They are so sweet and radiate Christ's love. I love the strength they have and their willingness to share.
