Hi I'm Mary Larson

I grew up in Utah. I am a nature enthusiast. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love doing anything outdoors especially hiking, climbing, hammocking, and skiing. I also love all things food, my favorites being ice cream, old-fashioned doughnuts, apple juice, and grilled cheese sandwiches. I am also a lover of photography, basketball, and curling up with a good book. I am currently attending college and enjoy all types of learning.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because men are that they might have joy, and it is only through the gospel of Jesus Christ that I can receive a fulness of joy. I am so grateful for my knowledge of this gospel and the light that it brings in to my life. I am a Mormon because through the power of God that was restored to the Earth through Joseph Smith my family has been sealed together for all of eternity. I am so grateful that my family can be together forever. I know that Jesus Christ lives and loves me. We have a loving Heavenly Father who loves us and wants what is best for us. He has a plan for each and everyone of us and our worth is great in the sight of God because we are truly His sons and daughters. There is a living prophet on the Earth today who speaks the word of God. I know that the Book of Mormon is also the word of God and that it contains the fulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that God's priesthood has been restored to the earth and allows us to make and keep sacred covenants to be able to return to our Father in Heaven again. I know that it is only in and through Jesus Christ that we can be saved and be worthy to return to live with God again.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith everyday of my life. I do this by daily studying the word of God and communicating with my Father in Heaven through prayer. I also attend all of my church meetings on Sunday as well as ones that occur throughout the week. I also actively participate in visiting teaching other sisters in my ward and in my calling to organize the ward together for a weekly ward prayer.
