Hi I'm Dawson

I grew up in Texas, I moved to Arizona before Junior High, I am the youngest of four, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I like to thing of myself as quite the nerd. I love Star Wars, I play Magic: The Gathering, I'm a fan of Nintendo (more specifically Metroid), and I love Pokemon. My hobbies build off of my nerdiness. I have gotten into costuming trying to make my own Mandalorian armor (it's a Star Wars thing). Despite my nerdiness and some physical limitations, I am good at most sports, and I enjoy playing with friends and family. Not only do I like playing video games and sports, but I love playing board and card games with anyone willing to join me. When I'm not too busy playing games or hanging out with friends, I love to talk with my family. I'm the youngest of four children and I enjoy spending time with my sibilings.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have read and prayed about the Book of Mormon. Because the Book of Mormon is true, Jesus Christ is the son of God and is my Savior and Redeemer. Because the Book of Mormon is true, Joseph Smith is a prophet called of God to teach of Jesus Christ in these last days. Because the Book of Mormon is true, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church on the Earth today. I have also seen the love of Jesus Christ in my life as I have obeyed His commandments and followed Him and try to become perfected by Him. That is why I am a Mormon. Because I have felt the Holy Ghost testify to me that it is true.

How I live my faith

I have served in a leadership position when I was 14. I have also been a home teacher, where I visit the homes of those in the church and I make sure they are doing alright, and I help them with whatever they need. I have also served as a Family History Consultant. I would help those who wanted to learn more about how to research their family history.
