Hi I'm Evan

Idaho: born and raised, in the Church. Mission to Russia. I'm a happy Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the Church. I love sports, am very competitive. I love music and the feelings it can exude. I like literature, and cooking. I enjoy life, and love, as Dostoevsky once said, "..to live, to live and live! Life, whatever it may be!" I believe in Christ and in his power to save, and in his power to change our very nature. I love the gospel and want to share it with everyone I meet. Which is why I am serving a mission in St. Petersburg for the next couple years.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because it has changed my life. I am a better son, community member, friend, student, and person than I could have ever been, and I've learned more in my childhood sunday school days than I could learn in a lifetime of study of behavior or morality. The gospel gives me purpose, knowledge, hope, and fulfillment. I love the Church, it is a great organization that helps a lot of people. But my testimony is firmly rooted in the belief that God does speak in these days, and he speaks to a living prophet and personally guides His true church on the earth through imperfect beings and provides a way for them to receive direction from Him, and to feel, personally, of His unbelievable and unending love.

How I live my faith

I try to live the gospel that Jesus Christ taught and exemplified. I try to be good and kind and help those in need at all times. I try to serve faithfully in all I am asked, no matter how little the task or assignment may seem.
