Hi I'm Liz Taylor

I'm a Mormon. I was born and raised in Idaho. I live in Utah. I have a family and I taught 2nd grade for 16 years.

About Me

Unable to have biological children of our own we adopted our 4 wonderful children. My greatest joy has been in raising them. We are now reaping the benefits of having grandchildren. It is super sweet. I love learning and I love children. I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching 2nd grade for 16 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a home where my parents were members of the Mormon Church. I was taught about the gospel of Jesus Christ and participated in the Latter day Saint Ward in our neighborhood. However as members of the church we are encouraged to read the scriptures and pray to our Father in Heaven and seek his will for ourselves. Through that process I have come to know that the gospel of Jesus Christ as taught in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints is the true and living gospel. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that there is a living prophet on the earth today leading this church. I have learned of these truths through personal revelation following scripture study and intense personal prayer.

How I live my faith

I have enjoyed living my faith through visiting and serving my neighbors and serving in our Ward congregation as a teacher for the adults in Sunday School.I have recently retired and my husband and I are leaving soon to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. We will serve the Lord at our own cost helping to make accessible to all in the world digitized copies of records from a state archive.
