Hi I'm Ryan

I love to travel the world. I strive to share the gospel with the people I meet along my life. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I love sports. My dad, two brothers, and I love to travel around the U.S. following the BYU football team. I am a big fan of traveling and and finding fun service opportunitties while doing so. I got the chance to teach English in Russia for five months and was lucky enough to get to travel all around Europe during that time. I am nineteen years old and am the youngest of four kids. I was born and raised in a LDS family and am proud to say so.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because of the merciful and forgiving nature of this Gospel. Were not perfect and it's impossible to be perfect on this earth. Heavenly Father knows this and he knows not to expect this from us. That is why he sent his only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ. He sent his son to experience this life and to help teach and guide us along. Before he came there was no such knowledge of Our Savior and Our Heavenly Father and their plan. So Jesus came to teach us and give us that guidance. Then when his teaching was done he got to perform "the greatest act of Love on this earth" (quote by Elder Holland) which allowed us to be imperfect, yet still ending up living with Our Heavenly Father in the end. I know the Atonement to be a true teaching, I believe the mercy and forgiveness in this Gospel to be so genuine and loving. In this religion, it is always possible to return to Our Father in Heaven and live with him and our earthly families for eternity.

How I live my faith

Growing up in the church I was always raised in such a way that fulfilling any calling you had (in or outside of church) was very important. While in young women I got many opportunities to serve in the presidencies within all three age groups. I also got the opportunity to serve in the seminary presidency at my school. We would help set up fun activities, firesides, morning sides, and even concert events. We had meetings every Friday morning before school and Wednesdays right after school. This calling was so fulfilling for me. I got to be very close with the seminary teachers and I got to gain relationships with people who had such amazing testimonies of the Gospel. I also got to meet some amazing LDS Speakers such as Al Foxx and John Bytheway.
