Hi I'm Abigail Hess

I grew up in Seattle, WA. I'm a Utah State Aggie, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving a mission in the Missouri Independence Mission. Before I came out, I went to Utah State University & got my associates in science. I plan on going home & finishing my degree in Nursing to become a Labor & Delivery Nurse! I really enjoy being outside and playing sports. Growing up I participated in basketball, tennis, dance, soccer, and flag football. I have 4 energetic brothers that keep me active. I love them more than anything, along with my parents. My family is my entire world. I love to snowboard, hike, fish, hammock & enjoy the beautiful outdoors. I love a variety of music. Peanut butter M&M's are my weakness & scrap-booking is my guilty pleasure :)

Why I am a Mormon

I know for a fact this gospel is true. Growing up, I struggled with my testimony and trying to find my place. Going to college and living on my own was when I had to decide for myself if I was going to continue on the same path I had been on or if I wanted to wander down a new road. Deciding to come on a mission has saved my testimony and my eternal happiness. I can better feel the power of the atonement, I KNOW the love Heavenly Father has for me is real. I know he understands my pains and fears. We are put into families and wards who are there for us during the hard times, but we have a Savior who is WITH us the entire step of the way. He will always be there. If we open the door to let Him in, the joy and blessings we receive will be endless.

How I live my faith

I've attended institute and seminary. I'm active in going to church and participating in church activities. I made the decision to come on a mission to learn and help others enjoy the blessings of the gospel. I try and be the best example I can to my little brothers and friends. Although, Jesus Christ is the ultimate example :) I try to inquire of the Lord in everything I do. He knows best and will direct our paths if we humbly let him.
