Hi I'm Samuel

I grew up in the North West. I enjoy science and problem solving. I love being around family and friends. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am 18 turning 19. I spend a lot of time with family and friends. I am leaving to serve a full time mission in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I report on November, 9th and I am very excited to experience such a unique culture as well as do my best to have an impact on the lives of those I meet. I play soccer and am currently helping coach my brothers team. I also do track, running the 300 hurdles and polevault. I am a good student and will be going off to college when I get back from my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that was a part of the church but that doesn't mean that I didn't have a choice. When I was growing up and just entering high school I had a lot of Mormon friends. They all seemed to have strong testimonies of the church and I wanted to know for myself that it was true because i was at a point in my life where I was doubting my testimony. My freshman year I read the Book of Mormon and participated in a very powerful youth activity. My heart was touched and I knew these great things could only come from God. That is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

One of the biggest ways I live my Faith is by being a friend to everyone. It seems simple but to those like my friend Justin it means a lot. I met Justin my junior year of high school and through just being a good friend he became interested in what makes Mormons so friendly. He decided to learn more about the church and eventually joined. I hope to make many friends on my mission and continue to make others happy.
