Hi I'm Jeffrey Crowley

I grew up in Alabama. Music is my passion. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music. I'm in the Men's Chorus and Symphonic Band at my college and I'm enjoying it so much. I also love technology, particularly computers and other tech stuff like that. I was in the Information Technology Academy at my high school and had a great time there.

Why I am a Mormon

I first learned of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon when I was 14 years old at a week-long church camp called Especially For Youth. That was when I first realized how the Spirit felt to me, and since then my faith has continued to grow. I'm a Mormon because I know that the principles that the Church teaches are true. Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, and the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I am currently in charge of many people that organize events for young adult groups in my ward. I also teach the gospel to six members of my ward in their homes every month.

What is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' attitude regarding homosexuality and same sex marriage?

Jeffrey Crowley
First and foremost, the Church believes in showing love for all people, regardless of life decisions. We believe in not judging people based on choices they make. However, we believe that marriage between a man and a woman is ordained of God, and that is the only form of marriage that is ordained as such. A person is free to make their own decisions, but we always promote this form of marriage and do not condone nor endorse homosexual actions and/or marriage. We believe that everyone is given trials in their lives, and homosexual inclinations are one of these trials. Show more Show less
