Hi I'm Kriss

I am a grandma who rides motorcycles with my husband and I am a Mormon.

About Me

Beautiful scenery as I ride my motorcycle with my husband always brings me joy! I love riding alongside him under the canopy of large oak trees that stretch across a windy road or follow a rippling river. I love the fragrances of all the colorful flora as we ride by, sweet, pungent or fruity. All the colors that come with a sunset make me happy and leave me in awe of our creator. Little grandchildren and their giggles make me smile and their imaginations make me have a happy heart. Teenage grandchildren stretch me to be ever mindful of the example I set and are so kind and willing to teach me how to keep up with this fast changing technology world. I am blessed, I love them all to the stars and back!

Why I am a Mormon

Because I want to be with the people that I love the very most in this world, my family, forever, I go to church where I learn how that is possible and what my responsibilities are to make that happen. Our Savior, Jesus Christ is the perfect example and teacher, I learn about Him and Heavenly Father when I attend church each Sunday and I learn what is required from me to meet that goal. Over the years as I have rubbed shoulders with good people it has become very clear to me that the happiest people and the ones I want to be like, are those that give Christ like service to others; family, friends, neighbors and their community. Through personal experience I know that the path through this life's trials and experiences can fill like it's all up hill and impossible but with the knowledge that our Heavenly Father loves every single one of us and hears our individual prayers gives me the faith that it is possible to live with our families in the presence of our Savior for eternity. We can never give up!

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon gives you lots of opportunities to stretch and serve in places you never thought you would or could. As the mother of many sons I felt unprepared for the assignment to teach and serve young women. But through this opportunity to work with the young women ages 12 to 18 for many years came many wonderful experience in my life. I was never so tired and exhausted after week long girl’s camps in the woods yet at the same time I was never so grateful for their examples of love, kindness and faith. Young women come in every size, shape and color and every one of them beautiful daughters of their Heavenly Father. This experience enriched my life and better prepared me for many, many granddaughters that now bless my life.
