Hi I'm Tayla

I love adventures and family... and family adventures. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, longboarding, and learning new languages and cultures. I am always ready to try something new. I have put college on hold to serve a full-time mission, but I intend on majoring in Asian Studies.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon not because I was raised in the church. I am a Mormon not because it's what my parent taught me. I am a Mormon because the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has the fullness of the gospel that Christ himself established nearly two thousand years ago. Joseph Smith, regardless as his faults as a man, was truly called of God to translate another book of scripture for our day, to build upon and add to the Bible, not replace it. Under the direction of God, he constituted a religion. MY religion. I have been to the Sacred Grove and there is no denying that it is a holy place. The peace and assurance I felt there is indescribable. It felt like home. And that's what this gospel is to me. Home.

How I live my faith

I am serving as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This means I leave my home for 18 months to share the gospel with the world. I have been assigned to the Norway Oslo Mission. I use all my time, energy and talents God has given me to serve those around me.
