Hi I'm Joey

I’m from Abingdon, VA. I am the youngest of six siblings. I’m a Mormon.

About Me

I love spending time with my friends and family, traveling, and playing sports or games with my people. I have been called to serve in the Utah Salt Lake City Spanish-speaking mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church because my parents have been faithful church members my whole life. I’ve had several strong experiences at home, church, and youth activities that have strengthened my belief in the Book of Mormon, the prophets, apostles, church leaders, missionaries, and most importantly, the love of our Heavenly Father and his Son, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I have been in a few youth callings to serve the other young men in my church and I love all opportunities to help others.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

I attribute most of my development as a person to my family. My family is far from perfect just like me, but we are all there for one another and can trust each other. I personally believe that the quality of our society reflects the quality of our families and that God intended the family to be one of our biggest priorities, and despite the various difficulties that every family faces, we can always grow closer and stronger as a unit.
