Hi I'm Macy

I'm a missionary in Ciudad Obregón, México and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a family of 7. I was born in Provo, Utah but moved to Atlanta, Georgia shortly after that. I lived there until I was 7 and then moved to Dallas, Texas where I graduated from high school. At Allen High School, I was on the drill team (Tallenettes), took a lot of music classes, and graduated in the top 10 percent. I recently completed my freshman year at BYU and just got into the Marriott School of Business' marketing program. I then moved back to my hometown for 6 months working as a receptionist and a nanny as I prepared to serve a mission in Mexico in the Spanish language.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I've read the Book of Mormon and felt the Spirit undeniably testify to me that it is true. Therefore, I know that the Prophet Joseph Smith was called of God. I know that this is God's true church, restored by the power of the priesthood. I know that by following His commandments you can find true happiness and eternal joy and glory. I know that God sent His son Jesus Christ to save us from the bands of death and hell. We will all be resurrected and we can live with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ forever because of this infinite atonement made by Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. I know all this with all my heart and it makes my heart rejoice with hope and light. And that is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being always trying to do the right things in the right places at the right times. In this way, I can feel the Spirit strongly and I can serve those around me.
