Hi I'm Ashley

I play Violin and Tuba, I love science, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy playing Violin and Tuba and weightlifting. I used to play violin in a county youth orchestra when I was younger. I participated in four years of marching band. I threw shot put and discus for four years during high school. I am attending college at BYU-Idaho and majoring in Biology. I will be serving a mission for my church in 2018, I have been called to the Alpine German-Speaking mission. I love sharing my testimony of Heavenly Father's love to everyone.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (or the Mormon church;) ) because I love what is taught. Our church is centered around families and Christ. It is comforting for me to know that families can be together forever. I also love that Christ is in the center of our religion. It is amazing to think about everything that he has done for us and everything that is possible because of him. Because of him, we have the atonement. We can be forgiven of our sins, and can be enabled to do all things (I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me). I also love that the church teaches that we are children of God. We are Children of the most high being, the creator of everything we know. He is the King of the universe, and we are his children. We are of eternal importance. He loves us so much, we can't comprehend it. His love is perfect, and he loves everyone, no matter what. Knowing this makes me happy and is the reason why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church weekly and trying my hardest to be an example of Christ every day. I love getting to know my fellow brothers and sisters both inside and outside of the church.
