Hi I'm Matt

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am recently graduated from highschool. At the same time I attended high school I received my associate degree from a local university. During this time I had lost first my Father and then my older brother. I live alone with my Ma. I have picked up the hobby of woodworking. I have held a few jobs that I have learned from. I worked as a janitor, a construction worker, a floor associate at a retail store, and an assembly line at a factory. I intend to finish my schooling, if I get accepted, at one of the top universities in the state.

Why I am a Mormon

For a long time I never had my own testimony. I relied on the testimony of my Dad. I lost my father to a rare form of cancer that took him weeks after it was discovered. A year and a half later I lost my older brother to suicide. These two losses put me in a position to gain my own testimony. The testimony that I have been blessed with is the belief that I will see my family again, through the power of the gospel and faith in Jesus. I am by no means perfect, but through Jesus atonement I will be reunited with my family.

How I live my faith

I attend church weekly. I try my best to read my scriptures and pray daily. I remain worthy of the holy priesthood which I hold. I have a calling in my church in which I help people with their family history. In the two years I have had that position, nobody has ever come to me for help. I do the best to fulfill my calling by doing temple work for the dead.
