Hi I'm Tara

I'm a Traveler. I'm an artist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am someone who loves to see the world. I have lived in 3 different countries and I love meeting new people and seeing new cultures. I love to stay up late and read, I'm practicing my hand at painting, and I have a passion for humanitarian work! You'll usually find me dreaming up or planning my next adventure! I love to bake and cook with my great-grandmother and make recipes from when she was a child.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that our Heavenly Father has a plan for me and for you! I know we all have a purpose here on this earth and that we have God and Jesus Christ to guide us and help us on our way back to them. This gospel really is happiness and I am a more confidant, well-rounded person because of it. This gospel has and will continue to change my life abundantly!

How I live my faith

I've helped organize activities for youth in the church. I have participated in activities and teaching experiences with my peers that have blessed our lives. I have had the opportunity to go our and serve with our local missionaries and teach people about our faith and how we live it. I love being able to help strengthen the children and youth in the church through music and teaching lessons.

What is the Book of Mormon?

The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. It contains writings of ancient prophets. One of these prophets, Lehi, lived in Jerusalem around 600 b.c. God commanded Lehi to lead a small group of people to the American continent where the established and became a great civilization. God continued to call prophets among these people and the Book of Mormon contains the teachings and records of those prophets and their people. It is named after one of the last prophets, Mormon. The book contains the teachings of Jesus Christ, testifying of His Atonement and His love. It was written the same time as the Bible after 600 B.C. Just about the people in America. It supports and verifies the bible. The Book of Mormon concludes with a wonderful promise that those who read and sincerely pray about it can know for themselves by the Holy Ghost that it is true.
