Hi I'm Jayden Jeppson

I was born and raised in Washington. I love to sing and dance. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love hanging out with friends and quoting movies with them. Some of my favorite movies to quote include, Nacho Libre, Napoleon Dynamite, and of course Kung Fu Panda. I was in a community show choir all through high school and had a lot of fun singing and dancing. I am about to serve a mission in the Utah Provo Mission. Afterwards, I hope to go to BYU for college.

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents grew up in the church and their parents before them. I grew up going to church every Sunday with my family. There isn't a specific event I can point out and say "that was when I knew this church was true. Going to high school definitely helped. In high school, like most teenagers, I had some ups and downs. Nothing serious, but the usual stuff like homework, tests, friends, and what not. While in high school, I took seminary. Seminary is a religion class that members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints during the school day. We studied the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I learned quickly how powerful the Book of Mormon was. Even if I didn't understand everything I read, if I read it before I did my homework, I would get my homework done a lot faster. Prayer also helped me a lot. In my show choir, I had the opportunity to sing a couple of solos. I was grateful for the opportunities, but I was also extremely nervous. Through prayer, I was able to rely on my Savior Jesus Christ and not only sing or dance well, but I was able to perform beyond my own abilities. These experiences have helped me to know that my Heavenly Father loves me and wants me to be happy. I am so grateful for the gospel and the peace and happiness it brings into my life.

How I live my faith

Growing up in the church, I have had the opportunity to do a lot of service. Whether it was caulking and painting houses, mowing lawns, building shelves or a wheelchair ramp, wheelbarrowing dirt, concrete, or gravel. I also served in various leadership positions among my peers. Basically I helped plan a lot of campouts and activities.
