Hi I'm Taylor Twitchell

I'm Navajo, I've lived all over Arizona. I'm a student at NAU studying Electrical engineering. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've grown up living in many different places and experiencing different things. After all these years, I've grown to love playing sports such as basketball, baseball, and football. After graduating high school, I made the decision to do a year of college. I was able to attend Northern Arizona University as an electrical engineering major. Now I am preparing and ready to serve as a missionary in Ecuador.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of this church has blessed my life tremendously. I've learned to love being a Mormon. One major influence in my life has been reading the Book of Mormon. Being a Native American, as I read I think of it as my Ancestors are talking to me. I can feel love and peace everytime I open those pages. By reading, pondering, and praying I was able to find the answer that it was true. By knowing of its truthfulness, I also know that Joseph Smith translated it by the power of God and that he restored Christ's church here on this earth again, in these latter times. As I continue in my faith, I continue to get that reassurance that Heavenly Father is there and that He cares for us, He loves us, and He wants what's best for us. I'm grateful to be a member of His church. I love the gospel and for the blessing that it is in my life.

How I live my faith

I've always strived to maintain the standards our church sets and to serve in many different ways. As a youth I've beem able to be in Quorum presidencies and do many duties as a priesthood holder. Now that ive been back home I've had the chance of serving as a ward missionary. I've also had the opportunity to attend early morning seminary throughout high school and now institute classes for college. These studies have helped me understand the doctrine we teach in the church.
