Hi I'm Sidney

I grew up in California in a LDS family. I'm going on a mission to ENGLAND MANCHESTER!!!! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've grown up in a very musical family and as a result I sing, play piano, and play guitar. I like reading and have loved Pride and Prejudice since I was in middle school. After serving my mission, I plan on going to college at BYU Idaho. I am the middle child of 5 children.

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky to be born in a Mormon family. Everyone has there ups and downs but I know that the times when I have truly felt alone is when I had my doubts about the gospel or the spirit wasn't with me. But once I regained that connection my testimony would be restored anew and stronger than before. Everything seemed clearer and right with the gospel in my life. I love my Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. I know they love me and will be there for me as long as I follow Christ's example. I know that our savior, Jesus Christ died for our sins and that he lived again. I believe in the power of repentance and the atonement. I know that the plan of salvation is true and if I do everything right and repent for my sins then I will see my family again. I know the scriptures are true as I have read the Book of Mormon many times and know it is another testament and witness of Jesus Christ. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and he translated the Book of Mormon by the power of the spirit. I know that we have a living prophet today by the name of Thomas S. Monson and that we should follow his words as he receives revelation for our times. I believe in my testimony and it has helped me through hard times. It continues to serve me and I hope I will never lose it. I love this gospel and I know this church is the true church of God.

How I live my faith

In my ward currently, I am the pianist. music can help bring the spirit to many people and I find that playing for people during sacrament can help set the tone for a session. I love reading the scriptures and having that close connection with Heavenly Father. I strive to do what's right by maintaining constant communication through prayer and going to church.
