Hi I'm Stephen

I'm 18 years old. I grew up in Arizona. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated from high school and have been working in fast food for a little over a year now but I will soon be leaving to serve a full time mission. I grew up with a relatively big family, having a mom and dad and two brothers and two sisters with me being the second youngest. I played on the varsity tennis team for my school along with the Ultimate Frisbee club and I was also in Choir and Orchestra throughout high school. I love to sing and compose my own music!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon partially because I was born into it. Coming from a long line of active members in the church, it is the life I've grown accustomed to and the life I love living! But I believe that if I hadn't been born into the church, I would have found it eventually. The things that are taught in this church are amazing and help people live life the best that they can! Even if this church wasn't true, which it is, it is still a dang good way to live! We are safe and loved and cared for by each member of our ward families and accepting and inviting of new members. Even if we are unfamiliar with each other or don't even know their name, we support and help each other, even if it is inconvenient for us to do so! I also believe that what is taught in church is true: that we have a loving Heavenly Father who loves us and cares for us and is a part of everything each of his children on this Earth does, and that he has a plan for each of us so that we can return to live with him and live with our families together forever. We don't need to be afraid of death or anything for that matter because of the hope that God's plan gives us, letting us know that no matter what happens everything will be alright in the end! That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I've lived in Arizona for my entire life. I love everything about how I was raised and how I have a loving heavenly father and a place full of caring people that I could turn to and become friends with. Every Wednesday night, the youth would get together and do activities, some athletic, others creative, but all spiritually uplifting and inclusive. Presently I have been called to serve as a primary teacher with my father, being able to teach young children about how they can strengthen and share their testimony in order to strengthen and uplift those around them. I go to church every Sunday and perform my duties the best that I can, blessing the sacrament, getting to know and help the other members of the ward, and teaching and helping others so that they can also serve God to the best of their abilities.
