Hi I'm Terrence Tonks

I'm serving a mission for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have been assigned to labor in Tucson, Arizona.

About Me

I have 9 siblings and I am getting ready to serve the Lord on a mission. I love modifying my car and working on making it cool.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I have a testimony of this gospel.Living my faith is the essence of not only following Christ's teachings, but trying to become more like him. This is possible on a daily basis through the simple and small things in life-such as smiling and saying hello to people as they walk past me on the sidewalks or in the grocery store. I often try to say thank-you to others, even if its just because they took the time to listen to me. I try to say thanks particularly to my parents-especially when I am home visiting and my mom makes dinner for the family. Living my faith is being patient and calm when things don't quite work out as planned. Service is also a huge part! I enjoy planned service projects and love looking for unexpected opportunities to help people throughout the day. I am also a teacher within the church among the women. I love planning lessons and thinking about the needs of those I teach and how the lesson can be applied into our lives.

How I live my faith

By going to church, reading my scriptures and praying.here is nothing that brings greater happiness in my life than my membership in the church. The teachings of the church have increased my faith in Jesus Christ, provided knowledge of God's plan for me personally, and simply makes me a much better person than I would be otherwise. The commandments keep me safe. I love knowing that God is the same as in olden times and continues to speak today through a living prophet. I am able to see the hand of God in my life on a daily basis. This is the only true church of Jesus Christ with the fullness of his teachings and his authority on the Earth—a bold statement, but I have learned for myself through thoughts ands feelings as I have seriously studied the Book of Mormon and Bible, prayed, and applied the teachings of Jesus Christ in my life.
