Hi I'm Tammy Petersen

I grew up in Utah, I am the mom of four, I love tennis and I am a Mormon.

About Me

i have four children, two boys and two girls. My oldest is 24 and my youngest is 17. I graduated from Brigham Young university. After graduating I was a buyer for R.C. Willey home furnishings. When my first baby turned two I quit and devoted my life to raising my kids. I have loved being a stay at home mom. It is the most rewarding job. I also love gardening, traveling and playing tennis. My husband and I serve with young single adults in Provo and enjoy every minute of it.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon church. I have learned for myself how important it is to me. I love the gospel and am so grateful that Joseph Smith prayed to find out the truth. I have a strong testimony of prayer and the temple. I love being a Mormon

How I live my faith

My faith is who I am. I rely upon it everyday. I love the temple and find it to be so important in my life. My husband was the Bishop of our ward and recently was released. Six months after his release he was called to serve in a young single adult ward. It is so much fun! I still teach the young women in my area. I work with girls ages sixteen to eighteen years old. Serving is the best way to make yourself happy.
