Hi I'm Bailey

I love to travel, smiling is my favorite, puns make me laugh, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old and anxiously awaiting my entrance date into the Mexico MTC. I have been called as a full time missionary to the Florida, Fort Lauderdale, Spanish Speaking mission. I leave November 7th, 2017 from my small home town of Payson, Utah where I've spent all but the first four years of my life. I have three little sisters who light up my world and the kindest mom and dad. I danced competitively growing up and served as the student body president of my high school my senior year. I work for a skilled nursing facility known as the Central Utah Veteran's home. I am a CNA there and I have the opportunity to assist and serve an amazing group of U.S. veterans. I love being outside and especially warm weather. I find a strong testament of God's existence through this gorgeous world He has blessed us with. I enjoy singing, taking pictures, adventures, and above all, the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church my entire life, and so have my parents... and their parents... and their parents...clear back to my ancestors who crossed the plains with the other pioneers of the Martin Handcart Company. This is the reason I am aware of Mormonism, but not the reason I am a Mormon. My testimony of the gospel happened little by little over my entire 19 years of life. Sometimes I hear a talk in church that particularly touches my heart. Sometimes a friend visits when I am feeling particularly lonely. Other times I am overwhelmed with the realization that such an incredible world could not have been created without divine intervention from on high. It has been the little testimonies of Christ, built up over days, months, and years that have made me a Mormon. I know that the Book of Mormon is true because I have read it. I know that the Prophets and apostles are called of God because the Holy Ghost has testified to me that this is true. I know that through covenants made in God's holy temples, families can be together for eternity. Over all, the gospel makes me happy, brings me peace, and gives me purpose. I cannot express how much I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. For these reasons, and many more, I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Each Sunday I teach the cutest group of 3 to 5 year-olds that you have ever seen in your whole life. Their knowledge of the gospel inspires me to learn more. I also try to be an example to my younger sisters and friends in the things that I say and do. The gospel has made me so happy and I want that for them and others. I try to spread the love of Christ through kindness and goodness in everything I do.
