Hi I'm Nicole

I love music, the outdoors, friends, family, and the gospel of Jesus Christ.

About Me

Music is my passion. I've played piano and sung as long as I can remember. I love hiking, especially with my brother and best friend. I currently have my certified nurse assistant and medical assistant licenses. I will be going to school to become a nurse when I get home from my mission in Texas.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the true joy the gospel brings into my life. Our Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ know each of us personally. Christ has experienced all of my pains and I have learned through my experiences, that he is my true confident and closest friend. The gospel keeps me safe from the many dangers of the world when I live the commandments. There is an undeniable sense of peace and joy that comes from living the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I have been able to use my ability to play the piano in my ward. I live my faith by making Jesus Christ the center of my life.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Mormons strive to help everyone no matter race, gender, financial status, or beliefs. A major part of our following the Savior, Jesus Christ is to become more like He is. To serve and love unconditionally. You may have seen members come to the rescue when such disasters as earthquakes and hurricanes hit. There may be a bishops warehouse in your community for those who need financial assistance. There are also small everyday acts of service being given throughout the world to those not of our faith. It is important to remember that we are human too and can mess up, but we believe in helping and being kind to all of God's children. Show more Show less

What is being a Mormon like?

Despite of the common misconceptions of Mormons, we actually lead a normal life. We refrain from substances that may be harmful to our bodies internally and externally. We strive to only participate in wholesome, uplifting activities so that we may always have the spirit with us. In all reality, being a Mormon and participating in the gospel of Jesus Christ is the greatest thing I could ever hope for. Show more Show less

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

A testimony is something we hold close and dear to our hearts. It comprises of the principles and doctrines that we know and believe to be true. A testimony can come from experiences, reading the scriptures, listening to the prophet, etc. But most importantly, a testimony comes when the spirit testifies to us the truthfulness of the gospel and it's respective teachings.
