Hi I'm Ashley Sorensen

I am a Mormon and one of four girls.

About Me

I am a college student, and I study cosmetology. I love my family, tennis, poetry, and making people laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that Christ lives and that He loves us. I know that He died for us and gave us the Atonement and that through the Atonement we are able to live with our Heavenly Father again. Christ lived for us. I’m not going to lie, I can’t even have a perfect day, He lived a perfect LIFE-for us. He is the only one who will truly know how we feel. I know that our Heavenly Father lives. He wants us to feel the immense joy that He does. Which is why He sent His son to live a perfect life and to die for our sins and our sorrows. He wants us to return to Him. He has given us scripture and a living prophet who he has called to help us live as He knows we should so that we can get back to Him. I know that as we put our trust in Him, He will never let us down. That doesn’t mean we won’t experience trials. Sometimes we go through really really hard things. And that’s ok, because I know that we are here on this earth to learn and to grow. And to help others learn and grow. Heavenly Father will never leave us alone. He is a prayer away. Prayer helps me grow and feel closer to my Heavenly Father and I know that is one way to receive answers to questions (sometimes questions I don’t even realize that I have at the time). I am grateful for temples and the peace I feel there. I know that in the temple we can make sacred covenants with our Heavenly Father. I love this gospel. And I am so so so excited to be a disciple and representative of Christ, to wear His name on my chest and serve and love His brothers and sisters for Him. I am so grateful for the opportunities I have because of Him. Without Him, we are nothing.

How I live my faith

I am preparing to serve an LDS mission. I will be serving in Chile Concepción.
