Hi I'm Malorie

I'm a shy girl with big aspirations and a kind heart. Always down for an adventure. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am twenty years old and the oldest of three. I am pretty shy and fairly quiet, but don't let that fool you! Once I get comfortable, be prepared to meet my goofy side - there's nothing I appreciate more than a good laugh! I've lived in four different states: Utah, Idaho, Missouri, and Arkansas. I enjoy making art, reading, and writing in my spare time. I love to travel and I'm always ready for an adventure!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parents who are both life-long members of the church. Though I had been born and raised Mormon and was brought up in the church, I had never really sought to know the truth for myself. For most of my life, especially in my teenage years, I had struggled to fully accept the teachings of the gospel. In fact, I eventually became uninterested and even stopped going to church for a time. Though life went on, there was always the feeling that something was missing. It wasn't until about a year ago that I realized that I didn't like this path that I was on, and developed a desire to change my course. I turned to close friends in the church for advice and they encouraged me to seek direction through prayer, church attendance, and study of the Book of Mormon. After this point, I began to discover the truths of the gospel for myself as I began to study, ponder, and apply the words in the Book of Mormon and the teachings of the prophets. I had found what I had been missing – and come to find out it was right in front of me the whole time! The gospel has given me a much greater sense of purpose in life! I know that our Father in Heaven has a plan for us, that we are His children, and that families can be together forever. I bear testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. I know that through study and application of its teachings we will find great joy and better understand the purpose of life. I am a Mormon because I believe in and love this message of hope, and I want to share this message with others wherever I go!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best in daily scripture study, communicating often with my Heavenly Father in prayer, and regularly attending my weekly church meetings. In addition, I strive to always look for opportunities to serve others in the church and in the community. Most recently, I have been preparing to serve a mission in an area of the state of Missouri, where I will have the opportunity to share with others the teachings of Christ along with my own testimony of the gospel and the joy that it can bring to our lives.
