Hi I'm Wes Bastian

My name is Wes Bastian, and I have lived in Mapleton, Utah almost all my life. I'm a Mormon and I truly love this Gospel.

About Me

My name is Wes Bastian and I have been called to serve and assigned to labor in the Argentina Rosario Mission. I will be serving my mission from October 2017-October 2019. I have lived in Mapleton, Utah almost my whole life. I love the outdoors and enjoying activities horseback riding, hunting, fishing, camping, motorcycling, and many other things. I have been accepted to BYU and will be attending this school when I return from my mission. I love this gospel and I know it is the true church on the earth today. I love my Savior and am grateful for His Atonement.

Why I am a Mormon

Like I stated earlier, I have had the privilege of having the Gospel my entire life. I have always known that this is the true church on the earth today but it never really sank in to me until I was a Junior/Senior in high school. At this point of time, I knew I had to get my own testimony if I was going to be firm in the faith my entire life. Through a lot of prayer and studying I knew I needed to change and be totally converted to the Gospel.

How I live my faith

I have been able to have the gospel in my life for as long as I have lived. I have been in the Mapleton 1st ward my entire childhood. I am thankful for all of the leaders in my life to help me grow in this gospel. I have been in many quorum presidencies as well as being the seminary vice-president for Maple Mountain High School. I enjoy reading my scriptures each day, especially the Book of Mormon. I have grown so much because of all of the lessons that I have learned in this book. I truly know that Joseph Smith translated this book because of our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ.
