Hi I'm David

I've grown up in Southern California in a small town called Yucaipa. I love to be active and play sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an extremely active person. I love being outside playing sports or hiking. I also love to take pictures. I love being around friends and enjoying their company. I also really love to spend time with extended family and love going to family reunions. Family is a huge blessing within my life and I am thankful for them each and every day. I plan on going to college after I serve my mission and I want to become a sports medicine doctor.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate enough to be born into a family where both of my parents are LDS. There is no doubt in my mind that this church is true. I have read the Book of Mormon and this book testifies of Christ and I know this because the Holy Ghost has shown that to me. This gospel makes me happy every day and it blesses my life continually. It is very comforting to me to know that I may fall short sometimes, but there is always hope in making it back to my Heavenly Father through the savior Jesus Christ. This gospel provides me the happiness that many strive for. Whenever I go to church or other church related meetings, I feel of the warm spirit and love that this gospel has to offer. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have participated over the years in my church with the youth of my ward. I have helped coordinate activities for them that may help build their faith and to also have fun at the same time. I have served in leadership positions over the years in my classes at church and I strive to touch the lives of my friends through the gospel. I try my best to be the best example to the younger kids and I try to show them how to live a happy, meaningful life.

In whom should we have faith?

We should have faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If we rely on his atonement and his grace, and truly believe in him, we will be saved and will be able to live in His presence. Trust in the savior with everything and your life will be blessed. Show more Show less
