Hi I'm Brandon McAdams

I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. I have been on two state champion high school football teams and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am 18 years old, I have played baseball and football my whole life. As a little kid, my team won back to back Little League Tournaments in Litchfield Park, Arizona. My Junior and Senior years of high school, my team won back to back state championship football games. I am an Eagle Scout. I have been in two LDS temple cultural celebrations when a temple opened where I lived. I graduated high school from Star Valley High School in Afton, Wyoming. Now that I have graduated high school, I am serving a mission for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Berlin, Germany.

Why I am a Mormon

There is nothing like our church on earth. The gospel holds more truth than any other organization that exists today. I know that Joseph Smith was visited by angels, including our own God, and His son, Jesus Christ. I know he translated the Book of Mormon using the urim and thummim, which is mentioned in the bible in multiple instances. I know that the commandments and guidelines that we have in our church are meant for our protection. They are not meant to be restrictive, controlling or anything of the likes. In fact, they do the exact opposite. They free us from the bonds of addiction, pain, guilt, and hardhips. Life is never easy, but the principles we live by make it that much easier to live each day.

How I live my faith

I go to church every sunday, I enjoy watching general conference, I read my scriptures as often as I can. I pray every morning and night. I will be a full-time missionary in Germany for two years.
