Hi I'm Jeremy

I'm an EOE survivor. A music connoisseur. Aspiring pediatric neurosurgeon. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I find sanctuary in music and learning. I play the ukulele, guitar, mandolin, piano, saxophone, and the clarinet. I love to sing and have been blessed to sing in many national choirs throughout my years. I love to read books of all genres and learn new things each and every day. I love psychology, physics, and American history. I'm a huge musical theater buff and find passion in performing and directing stage productions. I love working with children and making others laugh through a surplus of puns and sarcasm. I love big words, superheroes, and playing sports. Really, i'm just a quirky ginger with a passion for the details in life.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have seen the blessings that come from abiding by the principles and constructs of this gospel. I have been innumerably blessed through my obedience and righteousness, and recognize the Lord's hand in it all in my life. I admire the concepts of forgiveness and repentance taught in the church, and the emphasis on eternity and eternal families. I have a firm appreciation for the leaders and teachers I have had in my life who have helped me grow my faith. I have been a member my whole life, but as I've older, being a member of the church has transitioned to being my conscious decision rather than one of my parents. I owe so much peace and clarity to the principles of this church, and wouldn't trade my religious upbringing for anything.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my actions and leadership. I've been a President over various ages of youth, and am currently a Temple Worker, Temple and Family History Consultant, and a Ward Missionary. I have received my call to serve as a full time missionary for the church in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana Mission. I love these church and I find great joy in participation and leadership.
