Hi I'm Spencer

I was born in South Korea. I was raised mainly in the U.S. and love to play soccer and many outdoor activities. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being outdoors. My favorite sports are soccer and track and field. My favorite season is the transition from summer to fall. I love meeting new people and trying out different cultures. I love Korean Food but, the In N Out Burger is my favorite food to eat. I am the oldest in my family and I love playing with my friends. I have been all over the west coast starting from San Diego to Seattle. I am a Seattle Sounders fan and my favorite fruit is a Peach.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -Day Saints is the true church. I was born in an active church attending family. I first realized the church was true is when I was reading the Book of Mormon and the Doctrines and Covenants. I remember the powerful feeling I received when reading about Joseph Smith restoring the gospel. I knew without a doubt in my mind that Joseph Smith truly saw the Father and the son and restored the gospel. I know that this church is true and that President Thomas S. Monson is the prophet of this church. I know that President Joseph Smith restored the gospel.

How I live my faith

I love my ward. When we meet together on Sundays it feels like a big family reunion. We call this a ward family. I am an assistant to my Bishop. I help him plan meetings for the youth and help him with different service opportunities. There is a lot of service in my ward. We all love to serve one another starting from baking cookies for one another to helping a new family move in. I help young children behave in church by showing an example by being reverent in church myself. I love attending church and learning about Christ and the gospel. Every Tuesdays I go to mutual with my peers. At mutual we do activities that help strengthen the group and do different services for others.
