Hi I'm Caleb

I grew up in Utah. I am a second degree black belt, and the youngest of six brothers. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am seventeen years old, and I am getting ready to go on a mission. I'm a second degree black belt in Tang Soo Do, and I love reading. I played in the orchestra during tenth grade, and I had quite a lot of homework. I skipped kindergarten, which allowed me to graduate a year early. I taught eight year old scouts and was a paraprofessional at the elementary school in my town. I am currently a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Nebraska, Omaha. I am very excited to go and serve the Lord, and to bring the people of Nebraska the joy I have felt in this Church.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it brings joy. This truly is the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have prayed to God, and He has answered my prayers. I know that President Russel M. Nelson is God's prophet on the earth today, and that God speaks to him today. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know I have been called of Him to declare His word among His people so that they might have eternal life. I have felt God's love and have never been happier as when I am serving him. I know that this is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to do what the Lord asks. I am currently the Scout Leader for our eight year old boys. Essentially, I try to teach these eight years life skills and things interesting to them. It can be rough at times, especially considering the variety of boys I teach, but it is amazing, and I wouldn't give it up for anything. Another way I live my faith is through home teaching. Every month, I go and visit the homes of some of my fellow church members. There we visit, discuss life, and I see how they are doing. If I see that they need something, I tell my church leaders, and we work to help them. Finally, I live my faith during quiet moments of life. I strive to pray and read the word of God found in the Book of Mormon, and I try to be like Christ.
