Hi I'm Jason Spence

I grew up in Hartford, Connecticut. But was raised in Norfolk, Virginia. As well as I am a member of the LDS Church (AKA Mormon).

About Me

I enjoy playing sports, going outdoors, plus understanding and working with computers(Phones, Laptops, and Desktops). I am going on a full time mission to Oakland/San Francisco California on November 8, 2017. As well as after my mission i hope to attend BYU for college.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (AKA "Mormon") because I personal know that this church is true. As well as past experiences when my faith was tested, I stood fast in my beliefs and latter on received blessings that built up my testimony of this gospel. I love my church and the members in it as well. But most of all I love my Father in Heaven and the many others who have not heard of the LDS church and hope to bring many to come unto Christ with pure of heart.

How I live my faith

I love spending time with my fellow Brother's and Sister's with activities and/or services that they do. I also go out and home-teach inactive youth members with a smiling face always. Knowing that I am helping in doing the Lords work and willing to take off a couple hours to meet with amazing youth, then inviting them to activities or church meetings that I believe they will enjoy in the end.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Jason Spence
Official Church Answer Much of what is done in the Church is to bless and help those who are not Mormon. The Mormon Church has donated more than $1 billion in cash and material assistance to 167 different countries in need of humanitarian aid since it started keeping track in 1985. Many of these countries have few to no Mormons, but are also non-Christian. More than 53,000 Mormon missionaries serve through the world today. All of their service is to help those who are not Mormon. Joseph Smith himself taught that we are "to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to provide for the widow, to dry up the tear of the orphan, to comfort the afflicted, whether in this church, or in any other, or in no church at all."
