Hi I'm Carlee

I am the middle child of 7 daughters. I am going to serve a mission in Frankfurt, Germany. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from a small town where the majority of the population is LDS. I played volleyball, basketball, and softball in high school, and I still play all three in YSA. Volleyball is definitely my favorite sport. I taught myself the piano when I was 12 and it has become one of my favorite pastimes. I am the middle child of 7 girls in my family, and I love it. My sister's and I are very close, and are always laughing and singing or quoting movies.

Why I am a Mormon

The joy and peace the church brings me is indescribable, and I can confidently say that I would not be the person I am today without it being in my life. As a Mormon, I believe that families are eternal and do not end at death. I love my family so much and the blessing of being with them forever is so special to me. The gospel allows me to be my best self, and no matter how many times I mess up, I know that I can be forgiven because of Christ's Atonement.

How I live my faith

I've had a number of callings in my experience at church. Some include being Class President for my age group, and my responsibilities would include planning activities for my group to do each week on Tuesday nights. I was a family history consultant, so I became familiar with the church's family history program and helped others find their ancestors. I played the piano in Sunday school classes every week. The most significant calling I've ever received is my call to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and I will be serving in the Germany Frankfurt mission starting November 2017. I am incredibly excited and grateful for this opportunity.
