Hi I'm Celina

I'm a missionary currently serving in the Mexico Aguascalientes mission. I love to learn. I love the gospel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from Saint George, Utah. I love reading and learning new things. I previously attended university but have put my studies on hold while I serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Mexico. When I return, I plan to major in Nursing. I love following the example of the Savior by serving others. I grew up as a Mormon and I love the gospel of Jesus Christ with all my heart.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have received a personal witness of the truthfulness of the gospel. Although I grew up in the Church, there was a period of time around high school where I wanted to know the truth for myself and not rely on the testimony of my parents anymore. So I began studying the scriptures and praying to know if this Church was true and if Joseph Smith really did see Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. The reassurance and feelings of love and peace that washed over me during that prayer were indescribable and undeniable. I know without a doubt that this is Christ's true church on the earth today. I strive to live the teachings of this gospel and the commandments of God and I have seen them make a difference for good in my life and in the lives of my friends and family. I am eternally grateful to be a member of this Church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being what I believe. Praying and reading the scriptures daily helps me to feel the love of Jesus Christ and, in turn, strive to share that love with others. I try to serve and love others the way our Savior did. I serve in my local ward by teaching lessons about this wonderful gospel to the 7 year old children who attend my congregation.
