Hi I'm Aaron

I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. I'm a Mormon, a violinist, pianist, older brother, Eagle Scout, and a child of God.

About Me

I grew up for most of my life in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am the oldest child of my parents, and I have one younger brother. I love my family soooo much! They are worth more than the world to me. I have graduated high school and am a student at Brigham Young University. I love to play music, (both piano and violin), play soccer, and spend time with friends and family. I love to travel to places, especially national parks (I especially love Yosemite, Zion, and Yellowstone national parks).

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know for myself that this church is true. I know it is true not because this church is perfect because it is made up of imperfect people like me. Rather, I know it is true because Heavenly Father is perfect, and so is His Son, Jesus Christ, and I have received a witness of the Holy Ghost that they lead this church. I know that I will make mistakes, and I won’t be the only one in the church. However, I believe that God works with us as imperfect as we are because He loves us more than we could ever comprehend. And I believe that this church is meant to grow and progress in the same way that we are meant to grow and progress, and this growth in both cases comes as we turn to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, and as we follow them.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by showing God that I love Him. I have decided to serve a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, which has been a much harder decision than I ever anticipated. I am going to miss my family so much, but this is just one of the ways that I am trying to show God that I love Him. I am willing to give up time with my family so that I can serve Him and serve others by bringing them unto Jesus Christ. I show God that I love Him by keeping His commandments, even if I don’t always understand the reasons why He gives them. I show God that I love Him by having faith in Him and repenting of my sins when I make mistakes. I show God that I love Him by trying to align my life as closely as I can to His son, Jesus Christ. And I show God that I love Him by getting back up when I make mistakes, because that is what He wants me to do.
