Hi I'm Davis

I'm a military kid. I'm a musician. I'm a brother to four. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have moved every two to three years of my life, and this has brought me all around the world. I love traveling and experiencing new cultures so I am very excited to go on my full-time mission to Brazil in November of 2017. I love to play music, specifically the french horn, the trumpet, and the saxophone. I'm learning the ukelele and I love to jam when I'm stressed. I love to play tennis and soccer and I played both in high school. Now I'm attending university but I'm unsure of my future occupation. I love fun adventures and keeping a positive outlook on my situation. I love going shopping and clothes and shoes. My perfect day would probably be strolling around the shopping district of a major city with friends.

Why I am a Mormon

Everything I have in my life has been a result of God blessing me. I have been able to see the world with my family, go to good schools, live in good areas, and generally have a great life. I can see His hand in all of this. I can't express my gratitude for these blessings enough, and because He has blessed me so much, I choose to help others. I know that this church is true and that the scripture are the word of God. I have prayed while reading and have had wonderful feelings of joy overcome me. I love this church and I love the happiness and eternal joy it has brought me. I love my Savior and my Heavenly Father for all that they have done in my life and the trust I am able to put in them. I know life is going to be hard sometimes and that trials and obstacles are going to pop up, and it's very easy to get confused and overwhelmed by all of this but I know from my life that if we place all of our confidence and trust in God, that we will not, for we can not fail. May the world feel the love of God and be blessed.

How I live my faith

In my church I go and visit families that attend to see how they are doing and to help in anyway I can. We go and visit every month to see how they are doing and to get to them. I also help in the young men's programs and sometimes go to their weekly activities.
