Hi I'm Kailey Wood

I grew up in Utah. I love to be outside and help others whenever I can. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently attending college going through my general courses. I've recently been called on a mission to Texas and CANNOT wait! I love to serve others and help out whenever I can. I was a dancer all throughout high school and very much enjoyed it. I really like to be outside during the summer and I really like all the outdoor activities.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I want to be. Nobody forced me, it was my decision. Yes, I've grown up in the gospel, but it is so much more than that. I have had so many experiences happen in my life that could of not happened without Christ. I choose to follow him because I love the feeling of peace I get when I go to church, read my scriptures, and attend the temple. The spirit has testified to me that this gospel is true and how I'm living my life will help me get back to out Heavenly Father. I'm a Mormon because I know its true and I know that it is the only way to TRUE and EVERLASTING happiness!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be an example to others. I dress modestly, use clean language, and avoid activities that would violate what I believe. I also try not to miss my church meetings and attend any extra church activities when I can. I've taught members of my recent classes for many years as I've grown up.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Kailey Wood
Family is so important to Mormons because it is the central part of Heavenly Fathers Plan. God created families because he knew we would need people to rely on when the storms of life sometimes become too much. We believe that through our families, we can learn and grow together and help each other become closer to our Savior. Though we cannot choose the life we are born into, we can choose to strive to improve our relationships with our family members daily. By doing this, we will see a positive change in our lives and the attitude through out the household and family members. Show more Show less
