Hi I'm Josh

I grew up in Utah. I am a musician. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Ever since I was a child, I have loved music. I would memorize Disney songs, bang on the piano, and dance around the house. In middle school I began to study the cello, and took to it right away. I worked hard, competed in competitions, and grew to love music of all kinds even more. I have always had a loving and supporting family, and I am thankful to them every day. I love talking and laughing with them and want to be with them forever. I am currently serving a mission in the Taiwan Taipei mission, speaking Mandarin Chinese

Why I am a Mormon

We all make mistakes, myself especially, and I love that living the gospel to the best of my ability provides me with a way to overcome those mistakes and achieve my full potential as a child of God. Living the gospel also provides me with a way to be with my loved ones forever, which is a privilege everyone deserves and can only be had by seeking out the sealing power and authority of god given to man in our day. While it's hard sometimes between those around me who are not of my faith misunderstanding my beliefs and having standards of living that can sometimes feel burdensome, I know this church and this gospel is true and when I think of that and all of the greater freedom and blessings I can receive by living it, it doesn't seem as hard.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church regularly and living my life the way Christ would to the best of my ability. The congregation I attend with, or my ward, is like a second family to me. We love to support and serve each other and those around us, regardless of their faith. We donate offerings of both time and for the poor and needy and for neighbors that may just need a little love or a friendly hand. I will be spending the next two years on a religious mission to serve the people in my area and to be a vessel for those people to hear the good news of the gospel, and to partake of the joy that it brings me.
