Hi I'm Cassie

I grew up in Northern Virginia. I'm studying to be a trauma surgeon. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently studying Physiology and Developmental Biology/Pre-Med at Brigham Young University. I love hiking, camping, road trips, and exploring new places. I'm simply livin'.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it makes me happy. During periods of my life where I did not allow God to be present, I felt like something was missing, that I had a sense of anxiety I couldn't quite figure out the stem of. However, when I put God first in my life and strive to follow his teachings, I feel a happiness incomparable to anything else. I feel a purpose to living. I see the difference the values and beliefs of the LDS faith have on me, and on others, and it's not something I can ignore. There's something very special about this gospel of Christ that I want to share with others, so that they, too, can feel the immense happiness that I feel! There will always be hard times, but believing you have a purpose and putting your faith in Christ makes those hard times that much more bearable.

How I live my faith

In the past, I've helped others learn how to add documents to the LDS family history site in order for there to be a more complete collection for those searching for information on their ancestors. Currently, I am helping to organize humanitarian service activities so that we, as a church organization, can serve those in need! I love being able to show my devotion to God through service. I live my faith actively, always putting forth a constant effort to see God's hand in my life.
