Hi I'm Natalie

I am the oldest of three kids. I went to school at BYU-Idaho. I am a student and a teacher. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of three adopted children. I love music and have played piano since I was young. My favorite movie is phantom of the operas and I love other musicals/operas. I love to read and have read every book in my house. Cooking is a regular hobby and my favorite thing to do is to experiment as I cook. Learning is my passion and helping others is my motivation. I went to a year of school at BYU-I. I am now preparing to serve the amazing people of the Dominican Republic as a missionary for the next year and a half.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Mormon church but I had my own conversion. For a time I rebelled and wanted no part of the church. I wanted to do my own thing and I did. But I became a sad, angry, and confused person. I still attended church with my family but I was not actively participating. Then I started to pray again after a difficult time. I felt something so moving and powerful that I couldn't ignore it. I began to pay attention during church and to do my own personal research and scripture study. I discovered the beauty that is the truth within this church and it has blessed my life in too many ways to count. I am happy and I am at peace. I know that this church is the true church on earth. I know that we have a loving Father in Heaven that watches over us and is present in our lives daily. I know that by following His plan and being a part of His church, we can find a happiness and spiritual fulfillment like no other. Why am I a Mormon? Because I know that being a Mormon is what makes me happy.

How I live my faith

I play piano during our church services while our congregation sings. I have taught multiple lessons during Sunday school. I have organized activities and dances during the week through and for the church. I visit teach other women of the ward to make sure they are okay or need help. I am always willing to help and do whatever I can when asked.
