Hi I'm Cole Hough

I was born in Illinois, and raised almost everywhere else. I love art, and pole-vaulting. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a high school graduate with plans to go into college. I plan on studying art, with an emphasis on animation. I have a twin brother who looks just like, yet has a completely different personality. We are best friends. We both found a love for track and field, specifically pole-vaulting. In general we love the outdoors, and all kind of activities that can be done in the sun. Examples would be snowboarding, free-boarding, soccer, ultimate frisbee, camping, hiking, backpacking, canoeing, stand-up paddle boarding, and climbing trees. I have a loving mom and dad, and including my twin I have 7 other brothers and sisters, along with an adopted brother who we all love. This pretty much sums up who I am, thanks for reading this far and have a nice day.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was younger, about 14, I finished reading the Book of Mormon on my own for the first time. At the end it challenged me to pray to know of the truthfulness of these works. I did, and was astounded to find that all of the previous questions I had before reading this gospel were answered. I remember thinking, "Hey, your a pretty smart kid, you have lived your whole life in this church, and never found any reasons to doubt its truthfulness, you know this book is true, and by extension you know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God. And if you know that, then everything else is true too." For me, nothing beats that.

How I live my faith

Well... all in all I think that I live my faith as fantastically as I can. From ages 12 to 17 I have consistently been a leader of the young men regarding the age group that I was in. Since I have reached the age of 18 I have been called to be a Sunday School Teacher. I teach the young boys from ages 8 to 11, and have really begun to understand the meaning of patience. I have finished 4 years of seminary, and have been able to gain a testimony of the gospel regarding the bible, book of mormon, and the extended works made by Joseph Smith. I pray regularly, and strive to read and live the gospel as often as can be.
