Hi I'm Devin Chamberlain

I'm a fun lover. A joke maker. A missionary serving in Houston, Texas. I love the Lord, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in Springville, Utah along with my 3 siblings. I am the son of two wonderful parents. I kind of lead a double life, where I love to be active and do things like rock climbing and Swimming. While at the same time, I'm into some of the more nerdy things like; video games and books. I love cracking jokes, and having a good time with some close friends. I'm also down to try out new things. After I finish up my mission in Houston, I plan on going to college at Utah State to get my medical degree. So that I can continue to serve those in need. I also love to travel. Seeing new places and the ideas that they bring into the world is amazing.

Why I am a Mormon

So growing up in the Church, I was always familiar with basic doctrines such as; Eternal Families, the Book of Mormon and modern day prophets. But I never really understood what any of these meant until after my family was faced with some serious health issues. It was then that I actually started to care about what would happen to my family after this life, or where I could turn for comfort while I'm here. It is because of the Restored Gospel that I know my Father in Heaven. And I can recognize all the blessings that have come from it.

How I live my faith

Well. The biggest way that I live my faith at the moment would definitely be by spreading it to others. As a missionary, I have dedicated 2 years of my life to serving those around me as Christ Himself would. That includes sharing our beliefs, helping with the clean up from the recent hurricane and living life as close to Him as possible. I'm working hard every day to live up to Christ's expectation for us. And even though I'll never be able to reach it in this life, through His sacrifice I will be able to one day.
