Hi I'm Isaac

I grew up in Pleasant Grove, Utah. I'm really into music. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am currently planning on studying computer science in the future. I played the trumpet and tuba in high school and I still play the trumpet a little bit. I was in marching band in high school and I loved it. I love basketball and my Utah Jazz and I've been a BYU fan all my life even though I decided to go to school up at Utah State. I love the outdoors and I'm also really into gaming.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. I didn't really gain a testimony until I was 11 and my grandparents took me back east to see church sites including the sacred grove. My grandparents and I sat on a bench in the grove and my grandpa read the account by Joseph Smith of him seeing Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I had never felt the spirit so strong in my whole life and I knew right then that the church was true. Since then I haven't been perfect. I made a pretty big mistake in high school and repented with my bishop, but I then struggled with my faith for a long time. When I turned 18 and went up to Utah State I had no intention of going on a mission, but I did still have some part of me the believed so I didn't make any huge mistakes I just wasn't going on a mission. My roommate while I was up there saved my life. I had met a girl and wasn't making the best decisions. He was a great example to me and helped me find my faith and desire to stay in the church and now I'm going on a mission. I love this church and the joy it brings. I know that Jesus Christ died for me and my sins and my pain and through him we can repent of almost anything. I know that the book of mormon is true and that Joseph Smith was a prophet. I also believe the modern day apostles and prophets to be true and that the words they say are just as important as our books of scripture.

How I live my faith

I am about to leave on my mission to California and I am studying and preparing by reading my scriptures, praying, and attending the temple as often as I can.
