Hi I'm Hallie Allan

I grew up in a small town in central Utah. Playing both the piano and the viola is a fundamental part of my life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a musician at heart; I have played the piano for over twelve years and the viola for eight. I even had the opportunity to participate in the UMEA All-State Orchestra my junior and senior years of high school, as well as becoming Music Sterling Scholar for my high school. I love reading, especially science fiction and fantasy novels. I have completed one year of college and am very excited to further continue my education, as I have always loved learning. My current major is Linguistics, and minor, Music.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a part of this church for my entire life. As I have grown, I have come to truly recognize just how much Heavenly Father has blessed me in my life, and His gospel is one of those. I have seen firsthand the consequences of losing one's way; therefore, I believe that abiding by His precepts and following His ways is what will truly bring us lasting happiness.

How I live my faith

Music is also a major part of my participation in the community. I have participated in the ward choir as both a soprano and an assistant pianist. I have also played the piano at sacrament services for the local care center and provided musical numbers on my viola for services in various wards as well. Every year since beginning high school, I have been a member of the orchestra in the community's production of Handel's "The Messiah."
