Hi I'm Madison

I grew up in Utah. I love music. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am preparing to go on a mission, and will go to the University of Utah to go to college when I get back. I danced on my high school drill team, and I love music.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. I know that I constantly have a Heavenly Father watching out for me and always ready to help me whenever I need. I love that He that knows exactly what I'm going through, and knows exactly what I need. I pretty much went to church my whole life, but when I turned 8 and it was time for me to be baptized, my parents were divorced and my mom didn't allow me to be baptized. So I didn't get baptized, but still continued to go to church. I felt like I was missing out on something. All of the other kids in primary always seemed to be so much happier than I was and they always knew the answers to everything and all of the words to all of the songs. I wanted that! My mom passed away when I was 11 years old, and then when I went to live with my dad full time, my dad asked me the question again, "Do you want to be baptized?". I was so excited! Now I could be like all the other kids and be just as happy as them! Because I was too old, I had the opportunity to have the missionaries come teach me. Then it was finally time to get baptized, and I was so excited. I'm 19 years old, and I can still remember my baptism day and how excited I was. I felt as lite as a feather, and so happy. I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have served in various callings that deal with helping and attending to girls my age, we would plan activities for the youth, and would prepare ways to serve those in our communities. Every couple weeks, I research and prepare lessons about different topics having to do with our church, and teach what I have prepared with the girls in my class.
