Hi I'm Sean

I'm from Oregon in the United States. I have a large extended family and love them all dearly. I love people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors, and I love living an active lifestyle! Oftentimes, this comes in the form of going on nice morning runs through the streets or backroads of wherever I am. I do greatly enjoy any time spent hiking or skiing though, both of which are favorite activities of mine. By way of sports, I love to play just about anything, but my biggest efforts and passions have been focused on swimming through my teenage years. I also love music! I'm a student of piano primarily, but I have dabbled in a variety of different instruments throughout the years - most recently the accordion, which just so happens to be one of the jolliest instruments (at least I think)!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I feel the truthfulness of His gospel. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. Every time I read it and study it out in my heart with real intent, I can feel the Holy Ghost confirming its truthfulness to me. When I study daily, I invite into the Spirit into my life. It's a sweet feeling that is hard to explain. I also love that I can sealed to my family, in the temple of God with the proper authority, for time and all eternity. Someday, I will take a daughter of God to the temple and marry her in the same process. My understanding of the Atonement and the Plan of Salvation are some of my most prized possessions.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving my family and community. One of the things I love the most about serving my family is that building relationships with them is so important to me. Making their lives better makes my life better.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

This question illustrates one of my favorite parts about the gospel - agency! This life is all about making choices and choosing to align ourselves as close as we can with God. By serving a mission for Christ, I signify to Him and myself that I am making that choice. I do not have to serve a mission. I could easily go to school, get married, and have a happy family without serving a mission. However, I have found that serving a mission is a way that I will show to Him my alignment with His will. There are many blessings that come from serving as well. Show more Show less
